In September, most of my dad's family went to St. Louis to celebrate my Aunt Bernadette's (Sister Mary Catherine) 25th year of being a Poor St. Clare nun. Kelly had the privelege of singing two songs during the mass. It was so beautiful; I just sat there with tears streaming down my face. After the mass, we got to visit with Sister. The Poor St. Clare nuns take a vow of enclosure, thus the reason for the grate you'll see below in some of the pictures. Elaina did great. She was a little overwhelmed by all the people, but when we took her up to talk to Sister and some of the other nuns she just lit up and talked and laughed with them!

Grandma Patty, Elaina, and Sister-this is just a taste of all the smiles she gave the nuns!
